Wingback was founded by Alasdair MacLaine, an industrial designer with a deep passion for creating minimal, purposeful products that blend form and function seamlessly. Their carefully crafted product lineup includes mechanical pens and pencils, stylish hip flasks, elegant pen holders, and a variety of everyday carry essentials designed for durability and aesthetic appeal.
Every item in their range is proudly made in the UK using high-quality materials such as Titanium, Brass, and Stainless Steel, ensuring longevity and premium feel. We had the privilege of collaborating with Wingback to apply Cerakote Ceramic Coatings on a special edition series of mechanical pens and pencils, fountain pens, pen holders, and hip flasks.
Each piece was laser engraved directly onto the bare substrate, resulting in a striking, hard-wearing, and unique finish that highlights the exceptional quality and craftsmanship—an exclusive effect only Cerakote can deliver.
What we do for them
Evica is a specialized architectural and environmental lighting design and manufacturing company that operates with a dedicated direct product sales facility.
We have collaborated closely with Evica to successfully address complex challenges related to harsh environmental factors, ensuring enhanced stability and remarkable consistency that goes well beyond what traditional anodised finishes typically offer. Additionally, we have effectively mitigated issues caused by prolonged UV degradation, resulting in longer-lasting, more durable finishes.

Reiki Audio
What we do for them
Nigel and Max at Reiki Audio have been with Salopian Cerakote since its inception. Bringing positivity and a fresh take to the audio industry, they manage distortion and assemble every component in-house here in the UK, and Salopian Cerakote are proud to work alongside Reiki.
We provide sampling services for new materials and application methods across their cable components, DACs, amplifiers and switches throughout the range. From heat-sensitive parts to machined aluminium enclosures, Salopian works closely with Nigel and Max to ensure each product receives the optimal Cerakote for its intended use.
H-series Graphite Black is a firm favourite, appearing on all their aluminium work, while Crushed Silver adds a beautiful metallic sheen to their cable range. With an ever-evolving catalogue behind them, we are collaborating on laser ablation for the new Raku cable range, applying it to ferrules and connectors to enhance both function and finish.

Scan are the largest custom PC builder and parts supplier in the UK. We’ve partnered with Scan for many years, originally offering bespoke cable work under the PEXON name before evolving into Salopian Cerakote.
Together we’ve delivered massively complex, large-scale custom water-cooled PC builds as well as more straightforward projects.
