How durable is Cerakote on EDC items?

Cerakote is a tough, ceramic-polymer coating that is ultra-thin (you can coat as thin as a nut and bolt) and provides enhanced wear resistance, low friction, UV protection, and resistance to sweat, heat, and many chemicals.
